Answer:

Hydrochloric acid is a strong acid and ethanoic acid is a weak acid. Strong acids are fully ionised but weak acids are only partly ionised in solution. At the same concentration, strong acids have a higher concentration of hydrogen ions than weak acids.

Answer:

Explanation:

Strong acids :-  The acid which completely dissociated in water are called strong acids. Example equation

HNO₃(aq)---> H+(aq) + NO₃-(aq)

EX---> HCl(Hydrochloric acid) ,H₂SO₄(Sulphuric acid) , HNO₃(Nitric acid) , HCLO₃(Chloric acid)

Weak acids :- The acids which dissociated partially in water are called weak acids. Example equation

HF(aq) ⇄ H+(aq) + F-(aq)

Example----> HF(Hydrofluoric acid) , HCN(Hydrocynin acid) , C₆H₅COOH(Benzoic acid) , CH₃COOH( Ethanoic)
