In symptom based treatment a person is only given medication to lower doen the symptoms such as fever, body ache,etc,. This kind of treatment does not help a person fully get rid of the disease. While in microbe bases treatment, person is given medication to remove the microbe from its roots and henceforth it helps the person to get fully rid of the diseae.
