Differences between temporary and permanent house:

Houses are places where a man lives to protect himself from heat, cold, rain, and all unfavorable situations. However, they can be permanent or temporary house.

  • A permanent house is a place where a person resides for a long period of time, maybe for generations. It not only speaks about a group of people residing for years that marks his permanent address but also about the durability of the house, the favorable conditions nearby that helped them to live here for years. These houses are well-made apartments or houses made of bricks and proper designing to overcome all the natural disasters. In villages, there are small huts, houses made of mud, straw, wood, and clay called kucha house but are permanent.
  • On the other hand, temporary houses are made of bamboo or bushes or mud and straw. These houses are made to live for temporary purpose as in low lying areas that often get flooded. Many tribes that practice jhum cultivation also make the temporary house with bushes or tents. In modern days caravan is another good example which is a house on wheels moving as per the traveler’s purpose.
