Here's Your Answer!
The climate of Mumbai is quite moderate with the maximum summer temperature of 28 degree Celsius. However, the humidity level is quite high which sometimes is even unbearable. Delhi on the other hand is land locked city and experiences extreme summer and winters.
Explanation:
The biggest factor is proximity to sea and the Himalayas. Mumbai touches the sea. Water takes time to heat up and cool down. Land heats quickly and Coll should very quickly. When land becomes very hot, cooler breeze from sea comes in and moderate sea the temperature. When land becomes too cool, warmer breeze from sea moderates again. This moderates it’s temperatures, making summers not very hot, and winters not very cold.
