Answer:

1)Endocytosis is the process of capturing a substance or particle from outside the cell by engulfing it with the cell membrane, and bringing it into the cell. Exocytosis describes the process of vesicles fusing with the plasma membrane and releasing their contents to the outside of the cell.

2)Each Golgi stack has two distinct ends, or faces. The cis face of a Golgi stack is the end of the organelle where substances enter from the endoplasmic reticulum for processing, while the trans face is where they exit in the form of smaller detached vesicles.

3)A chromatid is one of two identical halves of a replicated chromosome. During cell division, the chromosomes first replicate so that each daughter cell receives a complete set of chromosomes.

4)Its main function is to make ribosomal subunits from proteins and ribosomal RNA, also known as RNA. This leads to the formation of incomplete ribosomes. It then sends the subunits out to the rest of the cell and forms complete ribosomes. The nucleolus plays a vital role in the making of proteins in the cell.

Hope it helps.
