1. The materials which get attracted towards a magnet are magnetic materials. For example - iron, cobalt atc. Material which are not attracted towards a magnet are non- magnetic materials. For example-plastic,glass , etc.

2. Like poles repel each other and unlike poles attract. A magnetic force flows from the north pole to the south pole outside the magnet.
