hey dude !!!

i) ferrous-- contain iron , less resistance, not magnetic...

non ferrous-- don't contain iron , more resistance, megnetic ...

ii) metallic -- new product obtained, lustrous...

non metallic-- no new product, non lustrous....

iii) shaft mining -- Shaft sinking is the term for accessing mineral deposits present deep inside the earth...

open cast mining -- open pit mining, the mineral deposits are at lesser depth making the mining process more economic

iv) a normal cooker -- can't work by sun's heat ..

solar cooker -- works by sun's heat ...

hope this helps you ✓✓

Minerals are divided as metallic and non metallic on the basis of their composition.

Substance that conduct heat, electicity and posses lustre are known as metallic.

Minerals that contain some metal other than iron such as silver, copper, gold and lead are known as non ferrous.

Minerals that contain iron are known as ferrous.

Mineral that contain some metal other than iron such as silver, gold, and lead are known as non ferrous minerals.

Some mineral are taken out by removing the surface layer of the rock. These minerals lie at shallow depths. The process involved is called open casting mining.

When deep bores named shafts are made to reach the mineral at great depths, the method of mining involved is Known as shaft mining.

sorry,solar topic is not possible
