Mutualism is a type of symbiosis where both the species benefit from interaction . Commensalism is an association between 2 different species where 1 species enjoys the benefit and the other is not significantly affected.

Difference between Mutualism and competition :

Mutualism :  Both organisms involved in the relationship benefit from each other.  

Example of Mutualism :

      Many animals eat the fruit of trees and plants and then disperse these seeds. The animal benefits from eating and the plant gets benefits from seed dispersal.    

Competition:

On the other hand, competition involves between two or more than two different organism or animals for limited available resources.  

Difference between Commensalism and amensalism :

  commensalism: Commensalism is one of the species. It is benefiting and the other species is neither harmed or nor this benefit. Commensalism is a kind of interaction.  

Amensalism: It is a type of relationship in which one species is harmed with no commensurate benefit to other species.
