Differences are given below:
Explanation:
- Autotrophs are organisms that are capable of preparing their own food by photosynthesis, while heterotrophs are organisms which cannot prepare their own food and depend on other plants and animals for nutrition and energy.
- CNG (compressed natural gas) is a gas at room temperature and remains so even upon compression. LPG ( liquid petroleum gas ), however , is a gas at normal temperature but converts to liquid when high pressure is applied. CNG is used as a clean fuel in automobiles. LPG is mostly used in cooking, as an industrial fuel and also in refrigeration.
- Tubectomy is a contraception method in females wherein a small incision prevents the passage of eggs to the uterus thereby preventing implantation. Vasectomy on the other hand is a surgical method used in males where vasa differentia of males are separated and tied together to inhibit passage of sperms.
- Deforestation means cutting down of trees on a large scale which might result in soil erosion. Desertification on the other hand is a process by which fertile land turns into a desert mainly caused due to drought or deforestation.
