a) Arteries carry blood away from the heart to the rest of the body. Veins push blood back to your heart.

c) In closed circulatory system:- the heart pumps blood through vessels that are separate from the interstitial fluid of the body. In an open circulatory system:- the blood is not enclosed in the blood vessels, but is pumped into a cavity called a hemocoel.

d) Tricuspid valve - located between the right atrium and the right ventricle

Bicuspid valve - located between the left atrium and the left ventricle.

e) Composition: - It is majorly composed of interstitial fluid. i.e, the fluid that lies in the interstitial spaces of all body tissues, which is collected through lymph capillaries.
