The major difference between the loan activities of banks and moneylenders is difference in interest rates and also rules and regulations.
Loan Activities:
- Both banks and moneylenders provide loans to the people but there is a difference between the services of the two.
- The bank comes under the public sector which works under the regulations provided to it by RBI and hence it works under strict rules and regulations of RBI and the government of India.
Money Lender:
- But, the moneylenders are doesn't have all these obligations, that's why they charge higher interest rates and have also known to have ceased property of the people if they were unable to pay debts.
- Whereas the bank works under regulations and it cannot cease the property of the violators without notice.
