MERISMATIC TISSUES - Thin walled cells and mainly isodermatic with compactly arranged without intercellular spaces . The cells are undifferentiated. PERMANENT TISSUES - The cells can be thin or thick walled and also may be living or dead with intercellular space provided . It are formed because of result of division in meristematic tissue .
