Difference between the physiography of Brazil and India:

  • India houses varied landforms ranging from snowclad mountain ranges to vast deserts, vast plateaus to long coastlines.
  • The physiography of Brazil is dominated more by the presence of forests than by any other landform.
  • The land area of Brazil is more than twice the area of India. Brazil spans about 8.5 million sq. kilometers of land whereas the land area of India is 3.2 million square kilometers.
  • India is surrounded by sea on three sides whereas Brazil only has its eastern edge open to the sea.
  • Yet, the coastline of Brazil is slightly longer than that of India.
