In Plants stimulus response is done with the help of a chemical substance called as Plant hormones or phyto hormones.


Plants do not have brain and spinal cord. In animals stimulus response is done with the help of electrical impulses generated by the nervous system as well as the hormones secreted by the endocrine glands.
In animals stimulus response is controlled by brain and spinal cord.
