solid: they are hard , incompressible,attact each other strong, definite shape and volume

liquid: they are fluid, compressible at some extent,attraction is weak compared to solids, no definite shape but have definite volume

gas: they are neither fluid or hard .it is found everywhere in the earth, highly compressible, attraction is weak compared to liquid,no definite shape and volume
