Explanation:

xylem fibres are dead cells which have thick pitted walls and narrow cavity and also have tapering or pointed ends .Fibres provide mechanical strength to the plant body. Whereas xylem tubules are tube like structure which are made of empty dead cells and connected end to end by tubules .They both conduct water vertically
