Thermoplastics
Thermosetting plastics

They can be melted/remoulded easily many times.

They are recyclable.

Generally they are more expensive than thermosetting plastics.

E.g.: PET Bottles, Covering on electrical wires, etc.

Once cooled down after manufacturing, can't be remoulded.

They are not recyclable.

Cheaper than thermoplastics.

E.g.: Bakelite, Melamine, etc.

Hope you found my answer helpful. Keep Smiling!

thermoplastics can be remelted back into a liquid, whereas thermoset plastics always remain in a permanent solid state.
