**Thigmotropism is the response given by plant towards the stimulus of touch to the surface. eg. the tendrils of the plant 



**Geotropism is the response of the plant towards earth's gravitational force. Shoots are negatively geotropic and roots are positively geotropic.

This phenomenon is clearly illustrated by the climbing tendrils of some plants, such as the sweet pea.
