• Northernmost range
• Average altitude-6000 m
• Houses some of the highest peaks in the
world like Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga,
Nanga Parbat, Nanda Devi
Himachal:
• Lies between Himadri and Shiwalik
• Known as Middle or Lesser Himalayas
• Has many hill stations like Shimla,

Shiwalik:
