Differentiate between thrust and force

Thrust is a reaction force described quantitatively by Newton's second and third laws. When a system expels or accelerates mass in one direction, the accelerated mass will cause a force of equal magnitude but opposite direction on that system. Thrust is theforce which moves an aircraft through the air.

1. Thrust is always perpedicular to the surface. Force can be exerted in any direction.
2. Every thrust is a force but every force is not necessarily a thrust.
