Cestodes are tape-like and segm.ented in shape, have a head with suc.kers and possibly hooks, and lack a dig.estive tract.
Trematodes are leaf-like and unseg.mented, lack hooks entirely, and have an incom.plete digestive tract. Genera.lly, cestodes require two hosts and tremat.odes need three to complete their life cycles.
