Nastic movement:-

The movement of a plant organ bears no definite relation to the direction of the stimulus ,but is responsive to the intensity of the stimulus,is called Nastic Movement. Nastic movement are non- directional responses to stimuli such as heat and temperature. Nastic movement paratonic movements of variation.

Tropic movement:-

When the direction of movement of plant organ bears a definite relation to the direction of the stimulus,then the movement is termed as Tropic Movement. Tropic movement are directional movement response to stimuli that comes from one direction.
