Differentiate between True solution, colloidal solution and suspension. Give example of each
Answers
Answer:
Difference between true solutions, colodial solution and suspension..
Explanation:
True solution is a homogeneous mixture. In true solutions the substances get mixed completely and there is no separation boundary. Its particles are so small so that they can't scatter light. Example is sugar and water solution.
Colodial solution is seems to be like homogeneous mixture but actually it's a heterogeneous mixture.. There is a sepration boundary and it's particles are big enough to scatter a beam of light . Example is chalk and water solution.
Suspension are hetrogeneous mixture and there is also a separation boundary. Its particles are also big and satter a beam of light . Example is mixture of oil and water.
