Answer:

  • Displacement can never be zero in uniform linear motion whereas may or may be zero in uniform circular motion.
  • The magnitude and direction of velocity remains the same in uniform linear motion whereas the magnitude of velocity remains the same but its direction continuously changes in uniform circular motion

The direction of motion never changes in the uniform linear motion and hence the velocity never changes or there is no acceleration.Whereas,in uniform circular motion the direction of motion changes and hence there is a chnge in its velocity and hence there is acceleration.

Also,

In uniform linear motion the displacement can never be zero. But in uniform circular motion it can be zero.

There is no acceleration in uniform linear motion but in uniform circlular motion it is not the case(there is acceleration).

Also in uniform linear motion the terms speed and velocity can be used interchangebly as the direction is not changing. But in unform circular motion the body may have a constant speed but it can never have a constant velocity.
