Answer:

vegetative reproduction is also known as asexual reproduction in which only a single parent is involved to give rise to new offSprings. these offsprings are so similar to their parents that they are termed as clones.

in sexual reproduction two parents are involved who give rise to different gamates which combine and give rise to an offspring. The offspring so produced has a different genetic makeup as well as is different in morphological features .

A lot of Genetic diversity can be observed in sexual reproduction but in Asexual Reproduction the offspring is a copy of parent.

Asexual reproduction is observed only in lower level of organisms, where as sexual reproduction is observed in higher level of organisms.

The parent undergoing sexual reproduction has to expend a lot of energy to give rise to gametes and offsprings where as, in vegetative reproduction a lot of energy is not required.

Answer:

The offspring obtained is the clone of its parent. No meiosis or fertilization takes place and there is no sharing of gametes. Vegetative reproduction is a type of asexual reproduction and takes place in plants only where parts of plants fall off and develop into new plants.
