Differentiate between vernier caliper and screw gauge.Please help.

Vernier = A small movable graduated scale for obtaining fractional parts of subdivision on a fixed main scale of a barometer, sextant, or other measuring instruments.
Caliper = An instrument for measuring external or internal dimension, having two hinged legs resembling a pair of compasses and in turned or out turned points.
Screw guage = A micrometer, sometimes known as micrometer screw guage is a device, incorporating a calibrated screw widely used for precise measurement of components in mechanical engineering and mechining as well.............

Micrometer Screw gauge and vernier caliper both are length measuring devices. The basic difference between screw gauge and vernier caliper is that screw gauge is used to measure only external measurement while vernier caliper is used to measure external as well as internal measurement.
