distinguish features of vertebrates. It is a part of skeletal system but nerve chord is the part of nervous syem which is made up of nerves.Nerve chord can be of two types. Dorsal nerve cord are the embryonic feature of chordates while ventral nerve cord forms the nervous system of some invertebrates

2)Radial symmetry: Any plane passing through central axis divides the body into two identical halves. For example: coelenterates, echinoderms.
Bilateral symmetry: Body can be divided into left and right halves by one plane only. For example: insects, chordates.

3) a)Vertebrates  have true vertebral column and internal skeleton , invertebrates don't have
b)Vertebrates have differentiated body tissues and organs, invertebrates don't have such level of differentiation
   c) Vertebrates have brain covered with cranium , invertebrates don't have brain covered with cranium.
d)Vertebrates are always bilaterally symmetrical, invertebrates can be radial or bilateral symmetrical.

Hi friend,

Invertebrates do not have a back bone or spinal cord (Example like insects and worms).

Vertebrates have a backbone or a spinal cord.(Example birds and humans).

Hope this helped!!!!!
