It can be clearly assumed that the characteristics of water hyacinth are different from that of a mango tree which is a tropical tree.
While a mango tree draws up the nutrients required for its growth from the soil through the roots, water hyacinth derives nutrition from the gases that are dissolved in water.
They are also different in terms of structure and function.
