Weather

  • it is state of atmosphere over a particular area at any point of time.
  • Weather conditions fluctuate many times within a day
  • Eg. On a sunny day you went out for a picnic but slowly sky becomes cloudy and after sometime it starts to rain and when you reach home from picnic spot, the day again becomes sunny.

Climate

  • It is the sum of of weather conditions and variations over long period of time
  • Usually time is more than 30 years
  • Eg. In Rajasthan, rain is also there but most of the time temperature is very high, that's why we say that Rajasthan is a hot place.
