The difference between weather and climate is just measure of time.
Weather is condition of atmosphere over short-period. weather can change from minute- to- minute, hour to hour, day to day, season to season.
Climate is the description of the long-term pattern of weather in a particular area. Climate is how the atmosphere "behaves" over relatively long periods of time.

Weather is the day to day condition of the atmosphere
Climate is the average weather observed for a long time (generally a period of 30 years or more)
According to me weather is more important as only because of that are we able to determine the climate.
