There are several lagoons especially in the southern part . 4. Kandla , Mumbai, Marmagoa, Cochin are the main ports. 5. No big delta is formed .
Eastern coastal plains : 1. The plain is located between Eastern ghats and the coast of bay of bengal. 2. It is comparatively broader plain with average width of around 80- 100 km .
