EASTERN FLOWING RIVERS:◇ They originate from the Western Ghats and flows to eastward direction.
◇ They carry large amount of water.
◇ They form delta at their mouth.
◇ They flow into Bay of Bengal.
◇ These rivers do not flow through very deep channels.
◇ Examples- Krishna, Kaveri, Godavari
WESTERN FLOWING RIVERS
◇ They originate from from central India and flow to westward direction.
◇ They carry a small amount of water.
◇ They form esturies at their mouth.
◇ They flow into Arabian sea.
◇ These rivers flow in channel.
◇ Examples- Narmada, Tapi
◇ They carry large amount of water.
