Differentiate between xylom and pholem.

Plants have two different types of transport tissue. Xylem transports water and solutes from the roots to the leaves, phloem transports food from the leaves to the rest of the plant.

It transports nutrients and food like amino acids, sugars from leaves to growing parts of the plant.


Its movement  is BidirectionalIt is present in leaves, stems, and roots.


It is also present in leaves, roots, stems but transports and grow in fruits seeds and roots.
