The biodegradable pollutants are the one that can be degraded and decomposed by the microbes.

The process of degradation is also rapid and can be accumulated in a short span of time.

They are used to produce manure, biogas and compost.

The non-biodegradable pollutants are the one that cannot be decomposed by the microbes and the process is extremely slow.
