Khadar - new alluvial, more fertile, light in colour, contains fine particles, found near the river....

◆ Bhangar

● It is the old Alluvial Soil

● Its less fertile than Khadar

● It is slightly elevated

● Porous & unfit for cultivation

● Found in Rajasthan, Punjab & Haryana

◆ Khadar

● New Alluvial Soil

● More fertile than Bhandar

● Best for cultivation

● Found near the Delta's of Rivers in North & Northeastern India
