CONDUCTORS :-

❶ Substances or materials which allow electricity to pass through them are called conductors.

❷ Conductors does not get charged on rubbing.

Examples :- copper, silver, iron, human body, aluminium and some liquids are good conductors of electricity ( i.e. Solutions of acid, bases and salts)

INSULATORS :-

❶ Substances or material switch does not allow electricity to pass through them are called poor conductors or insulator of electricity.

❷ Insulators get charged up on rubbing.

Examples :- Glass rod, wood, plastic and some liquid are also bad conductors of electricity (I.e. water etc..)
