d/dx(x^2+3x+2)=d/dx(x^2)+d/dx(3x)+d/dx(2)

=2x+3+0

=2x+3

now,

d^2/dx^2=d/dx(2x+3)

=d/dx(2x)+d/dx(3)

=2+0

=2
