Here's the difference between eye lens and glass lens:-

1. Eye glass are situated 12 millimeter away from our eyes while contact lens sits directly on the surface of the eye.
2. Use contact lens requires more caution than wearing eye glass.
3. Usually contact lens prescription has a 1 year validity but its not in the case of eye glass.
4. Contact lens's brand and size should be kept in mind while wearing as every lens has a precise grade of oxygen breath-ability.

Here Eye glass refers to glass lens and contact lens refers to eye lens.
