Vertical form of power sharing-

In this form of power sharing, there are three different organs of the government - legislative, executive and judiciary. Each organ has its particular work and each organ has the right to check other's working. No organ has the superior power.

Horizontal from of power sharing-

In this form of power sharing, power is divided on three levels, central, state and local. Central government is the most superior.
