Answer:

There is a basic difference, because mass is the actual amount of material contained in a body and is measured in kg, gm, etc. Whereas weight is the force exerted by the gravity on that object mg. Note that mass is independent of everything but weight is different on the earth, moon, etc.

hope its helpful

Hey Mate !!

Here is Your Answer :-------

☉⊰⊹ฺMass means the amount of matter inside an Object and Weight means how heavy is something.

☉⊰⊹ฺMass is a Scalar Quantity But weight is a Vector Quantity.

☉⊰⊹ฺMass of an object is uncheangable i.e., Constant but weight of an object is changeable i.e., Variable.

☉⊰⊹ฺMass is the amount of matter in an object but weight is the gravitational force exerted on body.

☉⊰⊹ฺSI unit of mass is KG but SI unit of weight is Newton (N).

☉⊰⊹ฺMass Can't be Zero but weight can be Zero.
