•Cotyledon: Monocots have one cotyledon. Dicots have two cotyledons.

•Stomata: Monocots leaves have an equal number of stomata on each of their surfaces. Dicots leaves have more stomata on their lower surface as compared to the higher surface.

•Bulliform Cells : Monocot leaves have bulliform cells on upper epidermis. In dicot leaves bulliform is absent.

•Intercellular Spaces: Monocots leaves have small intercellular spaces in between them. Dicot leaves have large intercellular spaces in between them.

•Vascular Bundles : Monocot leaves have large vascular bundles in them. Dicot leaves have both the small and large vascular bundles in them.

•Veins: Monocots leaves have parallel veins in them. Dicots have net-veins in them.
