MRI stands for memory reference instruction. For example

. ADD OPR

MRI involves two or three figures parted by spaces. The first symbols must be a three letter representation illustrating an MRI procedure code, the second is representative address and the third representation, which may or may not be immediate, is the letter I. If I is refraining, it indicates direct address guidance. If I is present, it denotes indirect address instruction.

Non-MRI instruction refers to a register reference or input-output instruction. For example CLA

A non-MRI is interpreted as an instruction that does not have a business division. It constitutes of only the operation code.
