The difference of a Joule of Work and Joule of Energy is the difference between a scalar and a vector, direction!

Energy is a quaternion number consisting of a scalar energy and vector energy. Unfortunately, this fact is not realized by physicists. Work is defined as a scalar energy W=F.D = - FDcos(x) Vector energy is Torque T=FxD = FD sin(x).
