Differentiate PROM and EPROM.

PROM stand for programmable read only memory, a type of non volatile memory .
Data written on prom is permanent and cannot be changed , therefore they are commonly used as static memory .

EPROM stand for erasable programmable read only memory , also a category of non volatile memory. It is also similar to prom but requires only electricity to be erased.
