Serial schedule is a schedule in which transactions are executed one after the other and concurrent execution of transactions is not allowed. On the other hand serializable schedule is a type of schedule in which concurrent execution of transactions is allowed that's is many transactions can run concurrently at the same time ..but it produces same result as that if these transactions were executed serially .
