Skin friction and form friction:
• Skin friction is defined as the friction at the surface of a solid and fluid in relative motion.
• It is the friction between a fluid surface and a solid surface moving through it
• Form friction is mainly caused by the division of the boundary layer from a surface. It is chiefly reliant upon the shape of the object.
