Because of the various physical, biological, climatic, and geological factors ,soil undergo evolution of process which is called as soil formation,
After originally deposited material got changes with time is called as soil development.
Difference of soil formation and soil development:
Soil formation,
- Soil formation is weathering of rocks and minerals where rocks and minerals gets disintegrated and decomposed.
- The formation of true soil by some soil forming through some factors and pedogenic processes true formation soil happens.
Soil development:
- Parent material, topography, organisms, climate, and time are five major soil forming factor which influence soil development.
- For development of soil its needs energy and materials should be added or taken away.
