*It catalyses in acidic medium.

*it acts on proteoses and peptones and converts them into polypeptides..

Pepsin...it found in gastric juice present in stomach...it helps in digestion of protein....
Trypsin...it found in pancreatic juice present in small intestine...it also help to digest protein and the enzyme lipase breaks down the emuksified fats....
