Answer:

*meristematic tissue and Ground tissue-

The main difference between meristematic tissue and ground tissue is that the cells in the meristematic tissue are capable of continuously dividing whereas ground tissue is a type of a permanent tissue whose cells are incapable of dividing. Meristematic tissue is composed of parenchyma cells.

*Special Meristem and Lateral Meristem

Apical meristems give rise to the primary plant body and are responsible for the extension of the roots and shoots. Lateral meristems are known as secondary meristems because they are responsible for secondary growth, or increase in stem girth and thickness.

*paranchyma and collenchyma

Collenchyma consists of a thick cellular wall. The wall of a cell consists of only cellulose. The cell walls are composed of pectin and hemicellulose. The parenchyma has intercellular space within cells.

Sclerenchyma and perenchyma

Cells are usually loosely packed with large intercellular spaces. There are no intercellular spaces between the cells.

Stores nutrients and water in stems and roots Provides strength to the parts of the plant.

* xylem and phloem

Xylem carries water and minerals from the roots to the leaves. Whereas, phloem carries the food prepared by the leaves to different parts of the plant.

*epidermis and bark

The epidermis is a protective tissue formed by a single layer of cells. The bark is also a protective layer formed by dead cells.

2. It protects plants from water loss and infection. 2. It protects trees from insects, drought, wind, and sun.
