On differentiating using chain rule

y = (x³+sinx)⁵

using formula dxⁿ/dx = n*x^(n-1). (so we assume x³+sinx to be a single variable say k and differentiate k^n  first and then k using chain rule)

we get dy/dx = 5(x³+sinx)⁴ * d(x³+sinx)/dx

using formula d(x³+sinx)/dx = dx³/dx + d(sinx)/dx and dsinx/dx = cosx

                    dy/dx  =  5(x³+sinx)⁴ * (3x²+cosx)
